Founded in 1916, the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers is an internationally recognized association, setting more than 650 standards, recommended practices, and engineering guidelines for image, sound and technology industry. With the mission to advance moving-imagery education and engineering across the communications, technology, media, and entertainment industries, the organization plays a vital role in media production.

Over the years that I’ve worked with SMPTE, I’ve developed countless recruitment pieces, newsletters, magazines and other inter-association communication pieces that promote best practices and provide networking opportunities for its members, connecting them through conferences, exhibitions, and other industry-related information.
